June SWOON - did you get your NEW catty yet?!

When I first downloaded our NEW 2016-17 ANNUAL CATALOGUE I was thrilled at my personal amount of 'Carry-Overs' as I've not been able to touch, let alone use many of them to their full potential. 

 THEN, I studied the NEWBIES!! Wow! There are some TRUE BEAUTS that I'm itching to get…. 

 My 'GOTTA HAVE' list starts with the fabulous 'FOXY BUNDLE' this is SO cute, and I know I'll be stealing him back from my girls when he finds his way into their clammy paws!

 

'VERTICAL GREETINGS' leapt from the page, screaming "buy me, buy me" - I used to love making a tall, skinny card, you know the one, a portrait piece of A5 scored vertically... well anyhow, once this set lands I'll be sure to show you how it'll work beautifully!! 

 I was lucky enough to get 'SWIRLY BIRD' bundle during the demonstrators pre-order event, so while I've previously shown some projects, I've made a few more since,  - Click on the Pinterest button to view my page dedicated to the 'Swirly Bird' Bundle...

Colour Challenge PPA301 - am I up to it???

Pals Paper Arts have set a colour challenge this week…

I raided my stash to find what I had in the required colours,

only to be ashamed in the discovery that most of these products had NEVER been touched…

* White 1-1/4" Jute Ribbon (137904) - retiring :(

* Bakers Twine Crushed Curry (134586) - staying yay!

* Sequin Trim Bermuda Bay (137910) - staying yay!

So, with a great selection, what was I to do??

The pondering lasted mere seconds, I soon started chopping and punching and, well, here's what materialised...

I don't know how I'll cope without, what has become, my favourite flower/accent punch, the gem, that forms part of the 'ITTY BITTY' trio (133787) is retiring, but will always have a place in my house.

The same applies to the 'Sentiment' from the 'HELLO LIFE' (137136) stamp set.. It wholly sums up the 'mantra' that I KNOW I should live by!

 While I'm sad that it too is retiring, I'll not be letting go of it just yet as I feel a host of home decor projects are yet to be made, each having this as their focal point.

Got your eye on a BUNDLE?

With the fab 2015-16 Annual Catalogue AND the Spring Catty coming to an end in less than two weeks... If you've got your eye on a BUNDLE or DSP (Designer Series Paper) pack this is a gentle nudge to pop it on an order by the end of MAY.

Mojo Monday (even though it's Wednesday!)

Continuing in my 'Mojo Maintenance' efforts - this being the theme of the week for me!...

I've been playing with the NEW 'AFFECTIONATELY YOURS' (141632) Speciality DSP that came in with my Demo Pre-Order... 
I made a gift bag from a sheet of 12 x12 DSP, using 9x12 for the bag, I was left with 3x12 and wanted to make a co-ordinating card.  
This is when I stumbled upon the MOJO Monday sketch for week commencing 16th May - and, as Gru would say.... "LightBulb"!...

Here's the finished set...

Now, as I mentioned, the DSP is BRAND NEW - Launching on June 1st along with the Thinlit set used 'SWIRLY SCRIBBLES' (141497) .... however, the 'MINI METALLIC CLOTHESPINS' (133320) &

 'IT"S MY PARTY ENAMEL DOTS' (140554) are leaving us on 1st June - so, you know the drill - if you need 'em - get 'em ordered HERE!

PPA Play!

In an effort to keep my crafting mojo pumping, I've had a bash at the latest 'Pals Paper Arts' Challenge...

Above is the sketch, and below is my take on it…

… I love this 'BIRTHDAY BOUQUET' DSP (140557) but as with most, it's only around for a year and it's time has come to an end, retiring on 1st June - HOWEVER, it is still available so grab it while you can!

Also, I've included a little 'teaser' by using a new punch & Stamp Set…
