My baby!… & You won't 'be-wreath' it!!!

… in amongst the lovely chaos of celebrating (my baby) Poppy's 8th birthday this weekend - I was a bad girl and didn't let you all know of a NEW show on BCN - It was aired on Saturday at 4pm ( I was supervising the un-wrapping of copious amounts of gifts and trying to keep tabs on what was from whom!)

The show - 'You won't 'be-wreath it!' featured the Wondrous Wreath Stamp Set and Wonderful Wreath framelit dies  - as usual I tried to cram in as much information and a wide variety of ideas and uses!

Gorgeous! - Now Blurghhh = Santa!!

… Yesterday, despite feeling a bit 'off' I had a lovely day out with a group of girlfriends as we were lucky enough to get FRONT ROW seats at a Cookery Demonstration at Denby Pottery, here we are waiting patiently!!

The GORGEOUS part came in the form of that delicious Yorkshire Pudding - JAMES MARTIN - never mind his food - he, just on his own is totally YUM! 

He was on top form - doing the things he'd LIKE to do on 'Saturday Kitchen' but knows he'd have his knuckles severely rapped if he did!! - He had us in stitches, laughing so hard I cried, so much so, mascara having gone for a burton, come 'photo op time' I looked shocking! - But what the hell - he was brilliant!

With the highs, come the lows - feeling rougher as the evening went on I've seen the doc today - and I've a Blurghhh chest infection - whoop tee doo dar - NOT! 

BUT, I'm now dosed up with steroids and antibiotics etc  etc.  However, my hands and arms don't ache and I'm determined to get some crafting underway in preparation for future BCN shows - SO, wrapped in my blanket at my desk in my conservatory/craft room - I'm writing this then going to see how I go!

Looking over at my Stamp shelves for inspiration, I think, to cheer me up - a mug of hot chocolate and a bit of 'Get your Santa On!?'

My girls chose this set from the Autumn Winter catalogue to make their Christmas cards this year - what they don't know yet is that I'm going to film them doing it on Sunday! (fingers crossed!)

I'm going to play some more and create some more samples for the 

"CHRISTMAS WITH KIDS" Show!

So far, so good...

… to say Wednesday was a little nerve wracking and fraught is an understatement!!  With the misfortune of the initial 'crash' of the BCN website, we were all relieved when the 12noon - re-launch went smoothly! 

I've been busy taking photos of all my sample cards and projects and am slowly uploading them to my PINTEREST PAGE -- so please take a look when you can! (it is a slower process for me as I can't sit in the same position for long)

I'm also trying my hand at creating downloadable PDF's to support each show, these have the featured project images and a full list of the supplies used -

It's almost 6:30pm and the week has definitely caught up with me, once I got the girls off to school I've slept for most of the day, only to be woken by my lovely UPS man delivering some extra Stampin' Up goodies - so he was forgiven… a) for it being a SU! parcel and b) as he's very handsome and chatty which always cheers me up!

Anyway, time to make a cuppa and get comfy to watch my 2nd hour go live on BCN at 7pm - tonight it's "SNOWLETTERS" (sneak peek above!)

A little overwhelmed!...

STATEMENT FROM THE BCN GEEKS…

… The BRITISH CRAFT NETWORK website was a little shocked this morning when hit with a 'FREAK' occurrence of over 500 users 'clicking' the SAME link at the VERY SAME MILLISECOND (had it been within the same second - it would have been fine! - & they informed us that even the BBC site spat its dummy with the same thing happening last week!!)

Despite this minor set back - all issues have now been dealt with to ensure this shouldn't happen again and the Website will resume 'NORMAL' activity at 12 noon.  

Due to the set-back the schedule has been altered slightly and my 1st show will now be…

1pm - Wednesday 1st October (TODAY!)
