Fantastic Day!

I'm laid out on my sofa, laptop on knee and need to express a HUGE thank you to....

.... the lovely ladies who joined me for my first 'Crafternoon Tea' event today!

While totally exhausted, i'm still buzzing from such a lovely day and am so thrilled that everyone went home feeling proud of their makes...

.... to my mum, without whom today would not have been possible.  Mum helps me so much on a daily basis and not only did she move furniture to allow my lounge to accommodate the crafting tables, but she also catered our delicious 'Afternoon Tea' style lunch!  Homemade mini quiches, sandwiches and clotted cream scones - just yummy!  I look forward to spoiling her tomorrow for Mother's Day - she truly is the best!

.... finally, I need to thank my girls... allowing me to disrupt their weekend and help moving furniture.  I appreciate my girls help on a daily basis and know I don't always tell them so. 
A special mention has to also go to Poppy, whose delicious cakes were also enjoyed yet again today!  The Red Velvet with Cream Cheese frosting was just DIVINE!!

Heat Embossed Dandelions

Heat embossing is a stunning technique that is often overlooked. 

You can create stunning cards in very little time and with little product.

I'm absolutely loving the Copper Trim  - and by pulling it open it makes a fantastic embellishment from just a small 4cm length!! - Wish they'd do it in more colours!
